To be a Bahá’í simply means to love all the world; to love humanity and try to serve it; to work for universal peace and universal brotherhood.

Yes, the Bahai Faith was founded in the east, just as all other major religious, including Christianity. God had sent messengers all over the world, including to the Native Americans.

There is only one God, only one human race, and the belief that all religions agree.

Racism and prejudice are two things that are not allowed in the Baha’i Faith, and we must work diligently, every day, to eradicate this poison from our lives.

Men and women both have different beautiful attributes to offer, though, in the sight of God, they are equal.

Marriage is a sacred union.

The Bahai fast lasts 19 days, we don't partake of food or water when the sun is up. During the Fast we are relying on God to give us strength.

This is also relaxed if certain conditions are met.

Baha’is believe in Jesus (that he was sent by God) and his teachings. We also believe that God has sent other messengers.

Baha’is honor all the major religions, because we believe that Creator always sends us Messengers to guide humanity including the Indigenous peoples.

We recognize the Baha’i Faith, as the latest, but not last, founded by Baha'u'llah.  As mentioned before, Baha’is recognize all major faiths.

Baha’is believe in prayer and are encouraged to pray every morning and evening. We have been given prayers for our spiritual growth and for our communication with the Creator.
